Comment: This specimen is made up of a base sedimentary matrix that's home to jet black botryoidal psilomelane masses and clusters of lustrous fan shaped blades (to 3.5cm) of vivianite; olive green in color with flashes of blue, green, yellow and purple. Due to the very fragile nature of the vivianite, some of the terminations could have been sheared off, and if so, it is not readily apparent. I've been looking at this specimen with a seven power loop and can not really find what I would call damage except for a few edge dings, but just wanted to be up front with what I am seeing. In my humble mineral loving opinion, this is one incredible mineral specimen! Spassebo, Do Vstrechi!

Minerals: Psilomelane ((Ba,H2O)2Mn5O1) Vivianite (Fe++3(PO4)2 8(H2O))
