Comment: These large clusters of deeply striated Pyrite cubes are increasingly harder to obtain on the market since permanent closure in 2002. The mine was a lead-zinc producer and closed due to low metal prices. The mine is located on the 5th largest island in the world in extreme northern Canada. The specimen contains numerous Pyrite crystals to 6mm with some modifications and overgrowths of Calcite and Sphalerite. There is one 1.3cm crystal of Calcite.

Minerals: Calcite (CaCO3) Pyrite (FeS2)
