Comment: A STRIKING and aesthetic combination specimen from Irai, Brazil. Gemmy and lustrous, amber calcite scalenohedrons richly and superbly cover the amethyst "ball". The two, stunning, incredibly well-placed larger calcites, up to 3.0 cm long, have these amazing, second generation, colorless calcite "caps". This is truly a unique, dramatic and beautiful Irai amethyst and calcite specimen! Complete all-around and very nearly pristine, except for very modest periphery wear, mainly on the back.

Minerals: Amethyst Calcite (CaCO3)
