Comment: A BIG (6.5 cm across!), transparent to translucent, super-lustrous crystal of aquamarine, of tabular hexagonal form, dominates this rich aquamarine specimen. Three other crystals of similar form crowd around it. These specimens are some of the most unique and attractive aquas from any locality. They have become some of the most distinctive and easily recognizable aquas on the planet. Tabular aquamarine crystals are rare, but some of the aquas from Mt. Xuebaoding are absolutely superb quality to boot! The color on this particular piece is a rich sky-blue. A great quality specimen from this unique locality. One end of the big aqua is partially contacted, but is out of sight in the preferred viewing orientation.
