Comment: A stunning 9 x 3 x 3 cm gemmy crystal of pastel green apophyllite sits on peach-colored stilbite , in this naturally pocket-shaped specimen. While Indian apophyllites redefine the words "common mineral on the market," THIS piece is exceptional and stands out dramatically. I have seen thousands of apophyllites, literally, and few catch my eye like this specimen. The quality of the single, isolated crystal is oustanding - lustre, sharpness, glassy surface all. The vertical, stark display is unusual. There is no damage. The trimming of the pocket of stilbite around it creates a very balanced look and display, too.
