Comment: A very nice and very old sample found in the ‘60s at the Brosso mine, definitely closed in 1971 and where only less than 30 miners were working in the second half of the ‘60s. It consist in a thin quartz matrix supporting a layer of undamaged, lenticular crystals up to 1.5 cm. The colour is a dark red due to a very thin layer of iron oxide covering almost all the crystals.

Minerals: Siderite (Fe++CO3)
