Comment: I'm not sure where the nontronite is located. The first picture shows a small vug, with a lone long pyrite crystal sticking up veritically. There is a suggestion on a similar picture that the gray coating in the vug is Thomsonite. The second picture shows a different vug, where the coating has come off displaying a greenish mineral beneath. Perhaps this is the nontronite.
