Comment: This excellent, old-time Inesite from Nchwaning has a rich, brick-red color and superb crystal density all across the face of the specimen. The radial crystals, visible from the sides, have very good luster and range up to about .7 cm in length, making the crust quite thick. An excellent specimen for the species from this classic locale and an old find. It is more rare in this quality from Nchwaning than from Wessels, and these darker red crystals are highly prized by afficionados of the region
Minerals: Inesite (Ca2Mn7Si10O28(OH)2 5(H2O))
