Comment: Matrix quartz specimens from the Goboboseb Mountains are very uncommon and are highly desirable. This beautiful, water-clear, quartz has a nifty, pretty, amethyst phantom, but also has diffused amethystine color in the modified termination. The crystal is complete all-around and is actually nearly pristine. Very trivial, barely noticeable termination wear is noted and the contact on one side has no damage, per se. The sidecar crystal and bit of matrix are excellent accents to this very showy and rare Brandberg quartz.
