Comment: Glassy, lustrous, pleasing pink and light brown, dogtooth, cobaltoan calcite crystals totally cover the sculptural, mounded matrix on this striking and excellent specimen from Bou Azzer. A preferential coating of second-generation, drusy, pastel-pink cobaltoan calcite is evident on the backside. Periphery wear is noted on one side of the knob, but is a modest detraction. Fine, bi-colored, cobaltoan calcite from recent finds. Beautiful reddish-orange fluorescence.
Minerals: Calcite (CaCO3)
