Comment: A sparkly band of lustrous, apple-green wavellite botryoids is a fine compliment to the rich covering of yellow-green wavellite on shale matrix on this excellent and showy, two-toned specimen from a NEW, 2010 find in Arkansas. This is a fine example of this new find, which has a striking variety of colors and sizes of the wavellite balls.
Minerals: Wavellite (Al3(PO4)2(OH,F)3 5(H2O))
