Comment: There is a carved face on this but it is very hard to see and doesn't photograph at all. Moonstone is a varietal name given to the tranlucent Feldspar Labradorite. This particular stone exhibits all the qualities of a fine Moonstone. This stone is a fantastic carved "face" which when viewed through transmitted light, exhibits a beautiful milky golden appearance, and when it is viewed by reflected light, exhibits a light blue and green iridescent "sheen". This is very characteristic of Moonstone and highly desirable among collectors

Minerals: Labradorite ((Ca,Na)(Si,Al)4O8)
