Comment: I honestly cannot remember seeing many Moonstones that looks like this. Typically, Moonstone gems are slightly "milky" or grey in appearance, but this gem honestly has a "black" color that is very eye-catching. The stone itself has a "Square Cabochon" cut with some small streaks of grey-white throughout. When rotated in the light, one can see the classic iridescent "sheen" on the surface of the stone showing a mix of gold and blue hues. Moonstones have been adored by people for thousands of years (dating back to the Romans), and this is a great stone to add to your collection. Enjoy.
