Comment: Very difficult to get a good photo of this specimen. Opal is known from hundreds of localities in all colors of the rainbow. Recently we obtained some attractive yellow precious/jelly Opal from Tanzania. The top stones have electric color and killer transparency. This stone has a very pale whitish yellow color and is what I would call a jelly Opal. The stone has a typical translucent appearance which is seen in a large percentage of these gems. The cut on the stone is a "Shield" cut. This seems to have been a limited find, as I have not seen any other dealers offering either the rough or gems for sale on the market. Enjoy.
