Comment: Typically, Moonstone gems are slightly "milky" or grey in appearance, but this gem passes light amazingly well for the material. The stone itself has a "Pear Brilliant" cut with some small inclusions which is typical for the material. Moonstones have been adored by people for thousands of years (dating back to the Romans), and it's easy to see why when the stone is rotated in the light and shows its various flashes of color, i.e., blue and gold.

Minerals: Adularia
