Comment: Lustrous 45 mm dark-smoky quartz crystal, on albite with another smoky quartz crystal, Note the suture patterns on the prism faces indicating twinning following the Dauphiné Law of quartz twinning. The smoky quartz crystal is nearly flawless internally. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear. Ex. Miller #M3021; ex. Betts #66366; collected ca. 1970 by Tom Penney. Size of individual crystals: 14-45 mm
