Comment: Breathtaking large (37 pounds!) cabinet specimen of "Grape Jelly" Amethyst inside Turquoise Chalcedony! This incredible specimen from Uruguay measures 33 cm by 27.8 cm by 14 cm deep! The Amethyst is not only intensely purple but it also displays a unique "phantoming" with the deepest grape jelly color near the tips. The polished 6 cm Chalcedony rim is bluish-gray and banded and adds the perfect contrast to the center Amethyst. This specimen is simply amazing and makes a wonderful centerpiece!
