Comment: A large plate of the well-known Grant County Fluorites from New Mexico but a quality seldom seen. The crystals on here are very gemmy, have a lovely blue-green color, and excellent luster. The octahedrons have the beautiful stepped faces, up to 2 cm on edge, which make a nice contrast to the famous scalloped faces you often see from Grant County. There is even a light preferential Barite dusting on some of the faces. Lovely and aesthetic, this is a wonderful Fluorite.
Minerals: Fluorite (CaF2)
