Comment: Extremely elongated calcite crystals form this cluster. It looks like they grew as a single stalactite, and then developed multiple terminations. There are dozens of smaller crystals growing on the main crystals. From a new find, I've never seen any calcite crystals like this. (Alas, broke and had to repair).
