Comment: From a new find in China - a large, dramatic stalactitic burst of aragonite, with an unusually beautiful color from copper content! This entire specimen is actually translucent, if you put a light behind it. Looks almost like some exotic sea coral (and not all that different chemically, if you come right down to it). The contact is on the bottom, so the specimen is complete on all sides.

Minerals: Aragonite (CaCO3)
