Comment: These are some of the best Augelite crystals to hit the mineral market in a long time. This piece features a fine, sharp, lustrous, colorless/grey twinned crystal of Augelite measuring 2.2 cm sitting atop micro Siderite crystals on matrix. The quality of the Augelite crystal is very good and it is one of the largest crystals I've seen from this mine. I photographed the top of the crystal to show the reentrant on the twin, but it is not very easy to see as the crystal is laying flat against the matrix. This rare phosphate mineral is not seen often in any format from any locality !!
Minerals: Augelite (Al2(PO4)(OH)3)
