Comment: Translucent crystals of yellow calcite, some with a partial coating of white (quartz?) microcrystals. The calcite crystals are rhombic form with satin-like surface luster. See: Mineralization at the Fanwood & Summit Quarries in Rocks and Minerals 5-6/87 From my personal collection. (John Betts) Overall size of mineral specimen: 13x8x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 10-25 mm.
